Agil Etemadi is goalkeeper coach of Almere City FC. Agil put a point behind his career in 2023, after he promoted to the Eredivisie with Almere City FC. He started his professional career in the youth of SC Heerenveen and progressed from the youth academy to the first team. He also played several international matches for the Netherlands Under-21. To make minutes at a high level, Agil was rented out to FC Emmen, before making the move to FC Groningen. After that, the Dutch-Iranian goalkeeper played for BV Veendam, Tractor Sazi FC (Iran), Almere City and FC Sanat Naft (Iran), among others. In the summer of 2017, Agil decided to return to the Netherlands and play for De Graafschap. And with success! He promoted with The 'Superboeren' to the Eredivisie and played the following season with De Graafschap at the highest level. In the winter-window of 2019, Agil transferred to Almere City FC and returned to the old nest.
