Fenna Meijer is a talented central defender from SC Heerenveen. Fenna started her soccer career at ONS SNEEK to make the switch to SC Heerenveen's talent team in the 2018-2019 season. in 2021, she was transferred to the main squad of the Frisians and soon made her debut in professional soccer. Fenna has since played dozens of matches for SC Heerenveen. In addition, as an international, Fenna has gone through several youth teams in the Netherlands. For example, she has been part of Under-15, Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20. With the latter she was allowed to participate in the World Cup 2022 in Costa Rica. Here she managed to reach the semifinals with the Netherlands in which Spain was ultimately too strong with 2-1.
